Tectonics is a quarterly journal published by the University of Birjand. This specialized journal aims to present the latest scientific findings and theories in various fields of tectonics and structural geology and related disciplines within the Earth sciences. The journal contributes to advancing the academic knowledge of students in these fields, promoting the practical application of scientific discoveries, fostering collaboration between researchers both domestically and internationally, and providing a platform for the dissemination of research. The journal has received its publication license (No. 93/682, dated 19th April 2014) from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and its scientific-research credibility (No. 97/3/18/311209, dated 6th December 2018) from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
All authors are advised to format their submissions according to the journal's objectives and the submission guidelines, which are detailed in the "Author Guidelines" section.

Tectonics is an open-access journal, and all its articles are freely accessible to the public immediately after publication.
